Every flower variety has a certain ‘shelf life’ to be dealt with, there are time constraints as to the cutting and ship time, the processing of the flower, the design time and the delivery of the floral arrangement. If a florist has a special order and their flowers arrive in a bad condition, the replacement of bad product is critical to their customer’s order being completed on time (and creates huge stress levels for the florist!).
